Review: Overall I'm happy with this coat, there are just a few caveats: The velvet runs "upwards" in my coat, in other words, if you stroke my coat downwards, it feels eeeew, but if you stroke it upwards, it feels OK. At the open part, the return of the fabric isn't stitched in place all the way. I know it is part of the design, but it means that it's possible for it to flap open in a not-nice way at times. You can see in the pics where I wear it with a belt. I bought M, but I am usually a L. I don't know whether L would have been better (e.g. allowing more space for layers in cool weather), but I can say that the fit on the shoulders is nice like this, especially with the shoulder pads. I wasn't too worried about whether or not it can close, because it doesn't have buttons anyway. The colour is eeeeexactly what I wanted: not rust, not orange, but proper burned orange.
