Review: Height: 5'7 Waist: 27.5" Hip (above butt) 32.5" Thighs (around butt) 41" Thighs (under butt) 40" These pants are stretchy and very comfortable. They look like dress pants almost. My biggest issues with high rise pants is that they hit my belly button but barely cover my butt. So when I bend or sit (work at a school with kids) they show my underwear if I'm not wearing a very long shirt. These pants actually had enough room to fit my butt and thighs comfortably and they don't get pulled down as I walk throughout the day. Also, even when I sit on the ground, they don't pull all the way down to show my undies. I find that they stretch with me vs. me stretching within them. The medium was a great fit. I'd say if you're my waist size or even a little bigger and don't have too much butt or thighs, to go for a small. I have plenty of room in the waist, but due to the stretch, they don't gape and they don't dig into me. ( Pictures taken after a day of wearing.)
