Review: A workhorse “invisible” thread for hems, appliqué, beading, and anywhere you want stitches to disappear across mixed colors. The nylon is clear with a soft sheen—not glassy blue—so it blends into most fabrics and trims. Strength is impressive for the diameter; it handles quilting, bag making, and attaching sequins or lace without snapping, yet it’s fine enough for delicate overlays. It feeds smoothly through domestic machines; set a slightly lower top tension and use a size 70/10–80/12 Microtex or Universal needle to avoid skipped stitches. In the bobbin, I prefer regular polyester and the mono on top for consistent tension, but you can bobbin-wind it slowly if needed. The spool unwinds cleanly with minimal memory; pre-stretch a strand before starting and it behaves. Because it’s nylon, avoid direct hot-iron contact—press with a cloth or press from the wrong side.
