Review: Absolutely love these chop sticks for cooking in my stainless steel pans. I suggest first use, wash with soap, dry off completely then use cooking oil (I use olive oil only to cook with, any type of cooking oil works) and cover the stick, rub it in and then wipe it off with a clean paper towel. I find this preserves the wood and allows for a cleaner use. The foods I’m cooking doesn’t soak into the wood when I do this treatment every few uses. Makes the chop sticks last a lot longer as well. NOTE I only use these for cooking, not eating, we use metal or glass chop sticks to eat with.
